The Official Sharon Tate Fansite

Thank you for signing Sharon Tate's
"Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Star Petition!

Sharon deserves all the support that people like myself can give to her. I may not have known Sharon personally, but she was a sweet person when I saw her on screen from some of her movies that I've seen.. She had a warmth about her that you could sense and a deep care of all the people that were in her life. Sharon should get a star on the HWOF.

Sharon was a beautiful woman, full of promise as an actress but more importantly as a mother. She most certainly would have gotten a star and she most certainly should have one now. I loved her as an actress, and would have as a person if I had ever gotten to know her. She was a star but also a Texan bybirth and spirit. Sincerely,Melanie Hamilton

Sharon Tate was a wonder actress as well as an icon of the times. She deserves a Star on the Walk of fame as much as any other star. If Woody Wood Pecker has a star why not an accomplished artist such as Sharon.

Sharon Tate was a very talented actress tragically cut down before she could have made more of herself. If only she had the chance she would have shown the world so much more than her beauty, her undeniable talent. xoxo, Devon

Beautiful Sharon must be remembered for what she was and not her for her passing or who was responsible for it. We must remember her for how she lived and her wonderful talent and impact internationally with all her successes! No one deserves this more than her. She is a very bright star!***

I truly believe that Sharon deserves a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. All too often she is connected to Manson and his "family". Instead of labeling her as a victim, why don't we label her as the great movie star that she was? If anybody deserves a star, it has to be Sharon.

It is the third time that I have to sign a petition but this time I won't argue anymore about givin' her a star on this boulevard.Seems to be a hopeless case anyway considering the huge amount of people from all over the world who did the same as I did. Without success. Since I read the biography "Sharon Tate and the Manson Murders" I had this gorgeous idea of having a film made of Sharon's life and her fateful end. But it should be only focused on her life, the people she knew, her marriage with Roman, the hippie time she lived in and of course the subtle suroundings which led to her tragic end. I think this would be the only way to show this committee how fateful, even with a lack of many box office hits and probably not as talented as other actressess, her life was to Hollywood and the filmindustry. In my opinion only a genius like Oliver Stone could manage to film this movie. He knows exactly the essence of bringing tragic on the screen( the doors, apocalypse now). I am sure he would do it at a heartbeat. With the right backup everything is possible. Sadly he would have also have to bring the violance on the scrren but this would be the only way to make it realistic and when people are able to see what happened that night, there would be know discussion anymore about parole hearings or if Susan Atkins converted to Christianity ( the biggest lie, what else is there to do in prison than to convert to religion) First of all Sharon was not just a victim, she led a fascinating life, movies and partys, famous people, travelings around the world, earned a golden globe nomintion, was loved by this goddamned city for her honesty, was married to Roman Polanski and had serious problems with her marriage. And she never stood in competion with anyone which is almost unbelievible in a town like Hollywood. I don't want to gloryfy her but she must have been really outragous. So let us hope that somehow Oliver Stone may read these lines.

I think Sharon Tate should get a star on the hollywood walk of fame because she is part of hollywoods history as being a actress and not allways concentrate about her murder. Let's concntrate more on her movies and how beautiful she was in life. Sharon just happened to be at the wrong place and at the wrong time when she died. I feel this alone that she deserves credit for being such a a beautiful human being inside and out. Sincerely Bob Hubbell IL U2Doors@aol.com

I first saw Sharon as Janet Trego on the Beverly Hillbillies,I did not like the black wig. I also own The Wrecking Crew,Don't Make Waves, and The Valley of The Dolls. Sharon was the most ephemeral soul, you could see it in those eyes. I have loved her since I was seven years old. She deserves HUGE STAR! The star should also remind people of Doris and Paul Tate,Debbie,Patti(I miss her),to baby Paul, and Roman. Sincerely,Melanie Hamilton

I have loved Sharon since her days Janet Trego on "The Beverly Hillbillies",but I think the black wig was wrong. I saw "The Wrecking Crew","The Fearless Vampire Killers,Or Pardon Me, Your Teeth Are In My Neck". And of course "The Valley of The Dolls". We will never know what else could have been. She was the most ephemeral soul I think I have ever seen. Sharon deserves a HUGE STAR!! Not only for her but for Doris, Paul,Debbie,Patti(I wish she were here),Roman and baby Paul. But Sharon got where she did on her TALENT! Sincerely, Melanie Kay Hamilton.

To Those supporting a star for Sharon Tate, There are many reasons I feel Sharon Tate should be recognized with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Sharon Tate was a vibrant and talented actress in both television and film, her voice was pure and her vocal tone exquisite. In addition, Sharon Tate was an actress/model in ad campaigns for major companies such as "Coppertone", she was featured in many leading magazines and newspapers and her popularity extended overseas. Not surprisingly, Sharon Tate's fame and influence continue to grow. In fact, in many ways Sharon Tate's unique style and presence have come to represent the magical glamor of the late 1960's. Therefore, I feel Hollywood should embrace one of their most bright and beautiful representatives, Sharon Tate. On a personal note, I was a paper boy (13) in 1971 and I remember seeing Sharon Tate's publicity photos in the newspaper on many occasions. Aside from being breathtakingly beautiful, I immediately liked her, sensing that she was kind - just from the look in her eyes. Thank you for your efforts. Sincerely, Mark Stone P.S. A few years ago I was looking at the stars on the side walks in Hollywood and was surprised not to find one for Sharon Tate. Later, I was even more surprised when I came upon a star for Rin Tin Tin.

I feel Sharon Tate was one of the most beautiful and sweetest stars we have ever known. She was such a wonderful spirit who would just light a room up with her mere presence. I know that I will never truly get to know her or what she did specifically, because she was tragically taken away long before my time, but from what I have seen, she had the potential and charisma to go far. She also would have made a great mother. I, in many ways try to be like her, as far as looks go. I see old photos of her and desperately try to imitate her beauty. The eyes, the hair, the clothes, everything! Especially the charm. But Sharon is unmatchable. She was a beautiful creature outside, but always inside. She was such a magnificent woman and with this Star we will be able to capture and remember her graceful spirit now and forever. With that, future generations will get to know who Sharon Tate really was and how important it is to keep her alive even though she is gone. Even if they don't give her an offical star in Hollywood she will always be a star in the sky and in millions of peoples' hearts worldwide. Thanks and we miss you Sharon! God bless and love always, Michelle

Manson and his followers don't deserve freedom and that death is too good for them and that they need to suffer through eternity. Acutally prison life is to easy for them, they need to be reminded of why they are there by suffering just like he made Sharon suffer!!!!!!!!!

Miss Tate was of my generation. I remember only too well the events surrounding her muder and that of her child. Miss Tate represents not just beauty and compassion in a person but the struggles and goals of all young women of that era. Sharon had talent but unfortunately only her looks were considered. Her real talent was her kindness and love and gentle nature...something oh so rare and precious..and to have it so brutually torn away, makes it that more poignant. Sincerely, Jan Wital.

I would also like to add my voice to the hundreds of others who have already petitioned to see Sharon Tate recieves the honor of a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I am old enough to remember her movies when they first came out. she was never given the opportunity to show her complete acting talents, but I am sure all would agree that was every reason to believe that she would have made it big!! I agree that Sharon Tate deserves the honor of a star on the walk of fame. Sharon deserves a star simply because she touched everyone in Hollywood with her beauty, charm, and style. There has never been a more beautiful person in Hollywood than Sharon. Give her the star!!! I think Sharon Tate most definitely deserves to have a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Not only was she a warm, loving, beautiful woman, but one of the definitive stars of cinema in the 1960s. Sharon is still a shining star and deserves to be remembered.

Sharon Tate, while her career was cut tragically short, has become an icon of the sixties. When I think of beautiful women who embodied that age, I think of Sharon Tate, Ursula Andress and Diana Rigg. Had Sharon Tate lived she would have grown as an actress and would have contibuted more to films. She had a natural sense of comedic timing. She deserves the recognition.
