The Official Sharon Tate Fansite

Thank you for signing Sharon Tate's
"Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Star Petition!

She was a great actress and we didn't get to see her full potential. She was beautiful and deserves what a great person deserves, that is a star on that walk of fame.

Sharon Tate should be given a star on Hollywood blvd. because she was a rising star, who would have made it there on her own. What's right is right...give her a star, she belongs there!

Sharon Tate without a doubt was indeed one the most beautiful and in my opinion talented actresses of her time. She was so full of life and she was real=(down to earth) unfortunately, God did not bless her with enough time here on earth to accomplish what she was well capable of. I believe a Star would be the perfect dedication to a unique actress and a unique person and of course for her astounding rise to fame and the extrodinary things she gave and did while she was there! May God Bless Her Soul! In loving memory of: Sharon Tate

Sharon Tate was one of Hollywood's most popular stars in the late 1960's, to the extend that Orson Welles, considered by many (including the AFI) as the great filmmaker of his time, cast her in her last movie! Although her life was too short to build a long list of film credits, each role she played gained her more fans and strengthened her future as a popular film star. Considering some of the stars who have received a star on the Walk of Fame, I certainly think the memory of Sharon on the silver screen during her all-too-short career is worthy of a permanent place in Hollywood history.

Sharon was a shining star that had her life cut short by a man that is not fit to even breath the air that we all share. I think it would honor her talent as well as her life. Thanks, Mark Norris

I remember the first time I watched Valley of the Dolls. I thought How beautiful Sharon was. I also have the thought of how it would be if she was still here. We lost a great actress. She had so much to live for. Seeing her pictures of her pregancy you just know what a wonderful mother she would be. I hope the world would take the time to remember Sharon as she was and not by the murders.

This young woman deserves to have this. We still see these pathetic creatures on tv when they are up for parol and never anything for Sharon. That to me is disgusting. Why these people have not been put to death is beyond me and I was a child when this all too place. The waste of taxpayers money with them just sitting in a prison, getting clothing,3 meals a day and there is a family that has no daughter/sister or neice/nephew and grandchild because of them. It makes me sick to think. She was a wonderful actress and a beautiful young woman.

Her charm and potentual make her a "star" just by pure essence. -A movie screen isn't always necessary... I know that she would've been great and is worthy of the recognition that she would have gone on to earn, and by today Her name actually WOULD be on the walk. She should be honorably commemorated .

I honestly believe that had Sharon not have been murdered, she would have been viewed in the same light as Marilyn Monroe, Jane Mansfield, or Bridgette Bardot. An icon for the times, that deserves to be reccognized. Potential can be observed in this case. Trend setter, celebrity and mother.

The only thing I remember her in is "The Valley of the Dolls", great book, great movie....sorry, for once(lately), I'm too young to remember her movies. I hope I'm not doing this because I remember mostly for"that". I (did) and (do) love the book and the movie!! That should be enough. Donna

She was unquestionably the most beautiful woman who ever lived, and, by all accounts, a wonderful person. I have been a fan for a long time and if she doesn't deserve a star, I don't know who does. I admire her family so much for their efforts to keep her memory alive.

I was only 5 years old when this horrible thing happened. I never forgot the details, even from so long ago. The LEAST we could do to honor this poor woman's memory. I can't even bear to see Manson every time he comes up for parole. That in itself is a cruel joke, the thought of that man EVER getting free after what he did. Words can't describe the feelings I have about this whole situation because I am a very emotional person. However, Sharon Tate should get her star simply because she DESERVES it! Thank you.

I think it would be a great way to honor this star, so savagely butchered to death, preventing her from fulfilling her true potential, by giving her a star on the walk of fame. She did star in a few major movies, notably a Matt Helm movie with Dean Martin, and there have been other celebrities who have stars on the walk of Fame who haven't been in nearly as many big movies as Sharon was. It would be very fitting and right to do this for her, as it should have been done long ago.

Sharon Tate was a respected actress who was building a solid body of work. That work included performances with some of Hollywoods biggest stars; David Niven, Deborah Kerr and Orson Welles just to name a few. She was a power player in powerful Hollywood circles of her era and she most certainly would have gone on to be a major talent

The human capacity for senseless cruelty could not contrast more sharply with Sharon's beauty and her love for her so-soon-to-be-born child. A star would not only be appropriate for her professioal accomplishments but also for her memory as a person

I have been a fan of this unique and beautiful woman for some time. There seemed to be a true sweetness in her that is often lacking in many "Hollywood Types".She commands our attention in her films that I think have nothing to do with her death. She gave good performances and often stole the movie from the "leads". She deserves to be honerd for her film work with a Star to show the world of what she was and could have been.A beautiful, sensitive, sweet woman who simply wanted her "place in the sun".
