Please let Sharon have her star this year...2003. She deserves it soooo very much! Let's remember how many films she made in her very short career. She would have had a great future as an actress if she had been allowed that chance.

I was 13 years old when Sharon Tate died. I remember reading about the crime but I had no idea who she was. I have since learned a lot about her and that she is ALWAYS described as having been a sweet, caring and unafected person. Perhaps she died so that we can always be mindful not to let evil in this world get out of control. It is sad that she will forever be linked to this horrible crime but perhaps a permanent reminder of who she was will encourage people to think of her as an actress and to celebrate the contributions she made to entertainment.

Sharon was a beautiful person inside and out. She was able to do comedy and drama with her obvious talent. Many times beautiful actresses are overlooked as having talent because of this beauty. I always enjoyed watching Sharon's films and hope that she is honored for her craft.

Sharon Tate was a wonderful actress who, unfortunately, died before she could cement her place among Hollywood's most celebrated leading ladies. If she had lived to make more films, undoubtedly she would have gone on to become one of the best of the 20th century. However, for her fans she will always be celebrated and never forgotten.

sharon was a beautiful and talented young woman whom I believe would have gone on to true Hollywood superstardom had she been given the chance to live. I think she was a great dramatic actress as well as a wise comediane. And of course, she was one of the most beautiful women to have ever graced the silver screen.

I was not around when Sharon Tate was murdered. I was born a year later. But I had watched many of her movies growing up. I think she was a very talented actress and I think that her career would have soared if her life was not so brutally taken away at a young age. Please give her a star on the Hollywood walk of Fame!

Sharon was gone before I was old enough to know who she was but it feels like I know her after looking through this beautiful site. She was such a lovely woman and it breaks my heart to think of how her life was stolen from her, and the life of her unborn child. If anyone deserves recognition for her achievements, it was her and now would be a better time than ever. I'm so sorry for your loss and I know Sharon's memory will go on forever no matter how this turns out. God Bless!!!

Sharon Tate was an accomplished professional who mesmerized the world with her beauty and talent. It is rare for a person so blessed to possess such a wholesome spirit. She always made time in her life to recognize others and make them feel good about themselves. I believe it is our social responsibility to assure that future generations will know who Sharon Tate is for two very important reasons. (1) Sharon is a wonderful role model for our nation's youth, and (2) society must never forget, lest we allow atrocity to reoccur. With power comes responsibility and I would implore Hollywood to use its influence to perpetuate positive social behavior. Keeping Sharon Tate's persona in the forefront is another avenue by which to influence our world in a positive manner and perpetuate the good works that continue to occur in Sharon's name.

A bright star was extinguished on that fateful night in 1969. Its time to celebrate her life, and one of the best ways is the give her her star, so many can see and celebrate in her honor.

Sharon's story is part of the overall story of Hollywood, and as such should be included on Hollywood Blvd. To not include her is to show that we are afraid of the dark when it comes to some things such as the sad side of Hollywood as well as just the glitz and glammor.
