The Official Sharon Tate Fansite

Thank you for signing  Sharon Tate's
"Hollywood Walk of Fame"
Star Petition!

Sharon Tate was 60s Glamour! She has been a symbol for others to follow in what the ultimate woman of that changing generation was, with style and an abundance of grace she was the Malibu Barbie! Her Characters represented a time that all of us will never forget. From the great comedy of the Matt Helm movie and Dont Make Waves, to the tragic starlet of Valley of the Dolls, Sharon should be given tribute to and remembered for all that she gave Hollywood....I truly hope that there is to come a day when her family can see that talent remembered by standing with her fans to unveil that star on the walk of fame!!!!

Sharon Tate was a perfect Jennifer in the Valley of the Dolls. She was truly a glamorous star of her time. Whenever I reread Valley of the Dolls, it is Sharon Tate that I picture in her role as Jennifer. Was ever a movie more perfectly cast?

I think she should get a star posthumously, as a tribute and mark of respect for her. It's only fair, in a way. She was also a very good actor, but was perhaps relagated to "eye-candy" roles in the late sixties, which wasn't fair.

PLEASE consider giving Sharon Tate-Polanski the Star that she fully deserves. She was a breath of fresh air and had an aura of innocence. She shined like an angel. Her movie Valley Of The Dolls will always be a favorite. I know that if she had lived, she woold be one of Hollywoods' most famous actress'. Giving Sharon a Star would also give her many fans a place to go and remember her short but very meaningful life. God Bless The Tate Family!

Reasons for why Sharon Take is deserving of a star on Hollywood Blvd:
She worked hard to get where she was
She was extremely beautiful

She, apparently, got along well with her co-workers and had such a sweet disposition.
She was beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside

I believe that if Sharon's life had not been taken from her she would surely have went on to become a major star in films. She should have a star in her name since even in death she has become a legend.

Sharon Tate was a beautifully talented actress who apparently was also a truly wonderful human being. Her memory should be one of a STAR..how better fitting than to give her a star on the Walk of Fame. I was eight years old when I learned of her death, my older sister was Sharon's age and I remember how horrible the news was.

I was 16 years old when Sharon died and I had already been a fan for a couple of years. Through the years, her movies have shown what she could have been. I do believe she is one of the most beautiful women ever to have lived. I sense that she was also as beautiful inside. I believe she should get a Star and be remembered for her talent. I think of her often and she will be eternally 26....Rest in Peace Sharon and Richard Paul.

I was a little girl when I first saw Sharon in "The Fearless Vampire Killers". Her beauty amazed me then and being only 7 years old at the time of her death, I feel cheated because I'll never see what she would have become. Without a doubt, I believe Sharon would have had "true staying power". Since she was cheated out of this and so much more, honoring her memory by awarding her the star is the very least we can do. In addition to pleasing her fans and family, the star will communicate an undeniable pro-victims rights message around the world.

Well , in my opinion she was a very good actress considering the fearless vampire killers, which is a classic and I really liked the funny accent that she choose, almost like Roman. In my opinion she deserves the star ' cause she is a legend, though her life was short. Jean Harlow' s life was also short and as far as I know she already possesses a star on the walk of fame. Sharon Tate is an American Tragedy, that was her fate and I think we shouldn' t deny her a well deserved triumph over the infamous happenings in that fateful August night. And let us not forget about the evil gossip in the aftermath, the fight of her relatives. Concerning the other movies, well I can' t say a lot about it. She was the only one who had good critics in the valley of the dolls, even a nomination for the golden globe. " the eye of the devil" is not even available on DVD and VHS, you can look for yourself and it makes me so mad ' cause movies with Sharon are already rare. Excuse me for saying so, but if Sharon Tate doesn' t get star on the walk of fame, who then deserves it. She is a part of the American history and a part of the American film history

Sharon Tate-Polanski was an amazing person and an amazing beauty. She deserves to be remembered for being more than just Jay Sebring's girlfriend, Roman Polanski's wife, or a victim of the Manson Family. I will admit that was what first interested me in Sharon, but having learned so much about her, I can identify with the kind of person she was and I hope that she will always be remembered as an excited expectant mother, wonderful actress, and loving person because it sounds to me like that's exactley what Sharon Marie Tate-Polanski was.

I love sharon tate. I first saw her in the wrecking crew with dean martin. Even though her life was cut short by and evil madman, I am convinced she could have a major star in the 1970's. Having her on the hollywood hall of fame will allow her memory to live on. In 40 or 50years from now, I would hope people can remember how she lived instead of how she died. sincerely jj

I believe that Sharon's contributions to the film and television industry warrant her a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She has proven herself as both a dramatic and comedic actress (I prefer her comedic roles). Her performance in "The Wrecking Crew" was hilarious. She has definitely shown that she can hold her own along side some of the well known actors she has acted with (David Niven, Tony Curtis, Dean Martin, etc.). I feel certain that had she remained with us she would have had an unstoppable film career. I ardently support Sharon Tate for a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame!

Even though her career was cut tragically short Sharon,s contribution to Hollywood is undeniable. Had she been allowed to continue Sharon would have become a megastar of the time. I heartily cast my vote for Sharon to be recognized with her own star on Hollywood,s walk of fame.

A timeless beauty who mesmerizes me even though I was not yet born when she was a rising star in Hollywood. Luckily, I discovered her talent and beauty when I rented Valley of the Dolls. I, like many other fans of Sharon, know that she would have been a huge star had her life not been tragically cut short. This talented, beautiful star symbolizes all the mystique and essence of the sixties. Do her justice by giving her a star.
